About IEEE SJCE SB
Since its inception in 2002, the IEEE Student Branch at St. Joseph's College of Engineering has been committed to fostering innovation, technical excellence, and professional development among students. In 2014, the branch expanded its reach by establishing 12 Technical Societies and 2 Affinity Groups, creating diverse opportunities for learning and collaboration. From a membership strength of around 80 students in 2014, the branch has grown to over 300+ active members today. Through workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, technical competitions, research initiatives, leadership programs, and NGO/community outreach activities, IEEE SJCE continues to empower students to become future technology leaders while making a positive impact on society.

Our Mission
The mission of IEEE SJCE Student Branch is to create an engaging and inclusive environment that promotes technical growth, professional excellence, and leadership development among students. We are committed to organizing regular workshops, seminars, conferences, industrial interactions, and technical events that expose students to emerging technologies and industry trends. By highlighting the benefits of IEEE membership, we aim to strengthen member engagement, increase membership retention, and build a thriving technical community.We encourage students to actively participate in research, innovation, and project development through Special Interest Groups, technical societies, and collaborative initiatives. Our mission also includes motivating students to publish research papers, develop impactful projects, and compete in national and international competitions.
